Privacy Policy

We protect the data that makes your progress yours.

This policy explains how VioThrive handles account data, habits, focus activity, reminders, garden rewards, purchases, referrals, support messages, and website interactions. It is designed to be readable first and legal second.

It does not replace provider-specific terms from services like Google or Google Play where those services independently control sign-in, billing, or platform-level data.

Who controls this policy

VioThrive is the service identified by this policy. If you have a privacy question, deletion request, access request, or complaint about how account data is handled, contact support@viothrive.com.

When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means the operators of VioThrive and the vendors we use strictly to run authentication, hosting, sync, app distribution, analytics, and support workflows on our behalf.

Scope and approach

VioThrive uses personal data only to run the app, website, account system, notifications, purchases, referral features, and support operations that you choose to use. This policy applies to the VioThrive mobile app, https://viothrive.com, and related product pages or support workflows that link to this notice.

We write this policy in plain language on purpose. If a provider or feature needs a narrower rule, that feature can present an additional notice, but this page remains the main privacy baseline for VioThrive.

Data we collect

Information you provide can include your email address, sign-in method, profile details, support messages, referral details, purchase-related metadata, and the habits, checklists, focus settings, reminders, and garden activity you create inside the product.

We also collect technical and usage data needed to keep the service working, such as device and app version details, crash and performance diagnostics, notification tokens, rough regional information derived from network requests, and activity records required for sync, security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.

How we use personal data

We use personal data to create and secure accounts, sync your progress across devices, deliver reminders and transactional notices, process subscription or storefront events, respond to support requests, maintain product reliability, measure feature quality, and protect VioThrive and its users from misuse.

We may also use limited analytics, logs, and diagnostic data to troubleshoot bugs, improve stability, understand feature adoption, and make planning decisions about future product changes. We do not sell personal data.

Why we process data

We process data because it is necessary to provide the service you request, such as account access, sync, reminders, support, and purchase handling. We may also process data to comply with legal obligations, protect the service from abuse, enforce agreements, and pursue legitimate product, security, and operational interests that do not override your rights.

Where consent is required for a feature, communication, or device capability, you can usually withdraw that consent through the product settings, your browser, your device permissions, or by contacting support.

Sharing and service providers

VioThrive relies on service providers that help us operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, database, storage, app distribution, payment, and customer support vendors. For example, we use providers such as Supabase for account and data infrastructure and Google Play for Android distribution and billing flows.

We share only the information reasonably necessary for those providers to perform their role. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or similar transaction.

Cookies, tracking, and notifications

The VioThrive website may use essential cookies or similar storage to keep pages working, remember preferences, protect sessions, and measure basic site performance. Where analytics or marketing technologies are used, we aim to keep them proportionate to the product need and to respect platform or browser controls where available.

The mobile app may use local storage, device identifiers, push tokens, and operating-system notification services to deliver reminders, account messages, and product actions you enable. Disabling notifications or certain device permissions can limit those features.

Third-party sign-in, payments, and app stores

If you sign in with a third-party identity provider such as Google, that provider supplies authentication data under its own terms and privacy rules. We only receive the account information needed to complete sign-in, secure the account, and operate the connected session.

If you make a purchase through an app store or billing platform, the store or payment provider controls the payment instrument and certain transaction records. We receive the subscription or entitlement details needed to unlock paid features, handle support, investigate fraud, and reconcile account status.

Retention, security, and international transfers

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal or financial obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the platform. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and why it was collected.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, but no system can promise absolute security. Because our providers may operate across multiple regions, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to reasonable contractual and operational protections.

Sensitive or regulated use

VioThrive is not offered as a certified legal-file, records-retention, medical-record, or regulated-compliance platform unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Do not rely on the service alone where a law, contract, employer policy, or regulated workflow requires specialized controls, guaranteed retention, or certified storage.

You are responsible for deciding what information you store in the product and whether your use of the service is appropriate for any legal, regulatory, workplace, or contractual obligations that apply to you.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You can also manage some information directly inside the product, such as your profile details, reminders, and account preferences.

To request account deletion, data access, or another privacy action, contact support@viothrive.com from the email address linked to your VioThrive account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may deny, limit, or defer a request where permitted by law if it is abusive, cannot be verified, threatens another person's rights, or conflicts with fraud-prevention, security, or record-preservation obligations.

Region-specific rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights relating to sensitive data, automated decision-making, correction, restriction, portability, or appeals. We handle requests in a practical, identity-verified way and will explain if a request cannot be fully completed because of legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.

If you believe we have not addressed a privacy concern appropriately, contact support@viothrive.com first so we can review it. You may also have the right to raise the issue with a local regulator or data-protection authority where applicable.

Children and policy changes

VioThrive is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy from time to time as the product, legal requirements, or provider relationships change. If a change materially affects how we handle personal data, we will update this page and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app, on the website, or by email.

Questions about privacy can be sent to support@viothrive.com.

If you use a third-party sign-in provider or interact with a storefront such as Google Play, that provider also applies its own privacy terms to the data it controls.
